    State Superintendent Elizabeth Burmaster will present the keynote address at the State Superintendent's Fall Conference for District Administrators at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19. The two-day event will be held at the Memorial Union on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus with school district superintendents from across the state.
    Following Burmaster's welcome, a moment of silence for the victims of terrorist attacks will be observed. Students from Verona Area High School, under the direction of Judy Behm-Georgeson and John Georgeson, will perform selections from "West Side Story" immediately following Burmaster's address.
    Featured sessions on Wednesday include Burmaster and UW System President Katharine Lyall discussing Wisconsin's PK-16 initiative at 2 p.m. and a panel of government, education, and private industry representatives discussing the Sept- I school start date law at 2:30 p.m.
